Sketch to UI

Sketch to UI: turn a rough layout into a finished design. Draw the structure. Refine the result.

Turn a hand-drawn UI sketch into a finished interface. Label the boxes, add a mood board, and SketchMason builds the screen from the layout you drew.

  1. Step 1

    Draw the layout as boxes

A header rectangle, a hero, a row of cards, a footer. You do not need to draw well. Boxes are enough.

  2. Step 2

Write a word or two inside them

A wide box at the top could be a nav, a hero image, a banner or a table header. Write "nav" and the guess is gone. Write the real heading and the type size follows.

  3. Step 3

    Drop in a mood board

A few reference images. SketchMason reads them for palette and typographic feel, then binds every colour and face to a role, with contrast checked on the pairings that decide legibility.

  4. Step 4

    Generate beside the sketch

The screen streams onto the canvas next to what you drew. If the hero is wrong you see it before the run finishes. Ask for a change and only what you mentioned moves.

  5. Step 5

    Grow it into a flow

One screen is a mock. The screens around it are the product. Ask for the flow and later pages share the same shell, because they are built from the same system.

Can AI turn a hand-drawn sketch into a UI?
Yes. SketchMason takes labelled rectangles on a canvas, or a photo of a sketch on paper, as the layout and generates a finished interface against a design system read from your mood board. A new account is free to start, with two generations and no card.
Can I use a photo of a paper sketch?
Yes. Drop, paste or pick the photo on the canvas and it lands in a frame that generates like a drawn sketch. Or draw the boxes on the canvas itself, which gives you a sketch you can keep editing.
What comes out?
A design on the canvas you can move, resize and revise. You can export it as a standalone HTML file or as a written brief. Drawing and history cost nothing. Generating costs a credit.
